Introduction
Guang Hua Chinese Cultural Association is a nonprofit organization (If you would like to make a donation to our school, please click HERE)that
promotes understanding and appreciation of Chinese Language and Culture
by operating a school, sports and cultural programs on weekends. These
programs are run by volunteers and paid professionals. In addition to
language, a wide range of cultural classes are available.
Classes
"Simplified Chinese" is the official writing system used by the People's
Republic of China, and is used on the SAT Chinese subject test. The characters
are simpler to write and memorize than the older more complicated traditional
writing system. The school provides simplified Chinese classes for children at
the Kindergarten, and first through tenth grade levels. Chinese for
English speakers is also offered to children and adults. The school also runs
a free English class for Chinese speaking seniors.
The school is open every Sunday during the school year, 1-5 p.m.
