2. Classrooms 109, 110 and 111 will switch to new rooms:
- Room 109 move to Room 119
- Room 110 move to Room 120
- Room 111 move to Room 121
3. The 2018 Chinese New Year Gala will be hold on Sunday Feb 25, 2:00pm at Performing Arts Center, Upper Dublin High School, 800 Loch Alsh Ave, Fort Washington PA 19034. All the students, parents and teachers are invited to join us to celebration the year of Dog coming! Beside the performance, we will present excellent teacher awards to our dedicated teachers who worked for Guanghua over 5, 10, and 20 years.
光华中文学校2018年春节联欢会定于2月25日周日在Upper Dublin High School’s Performing Arts Center 举行。届时除了精彩的表演，我们还将为光华多年奉献的教师们颁奖，敬请届时光临。
Program audition will be on Feb 4 at Parkhouse Hall. As we mentioned before, Please upload the music, background pictures or videos if you needed to the school dropbox account, please make sure following the format: Program title_class name, as 龙的传人_G2. 二月四日学校开始审查春节联欢会节目。请务必在本周日21日以前把你们节目的音乐、背景图片或视频上传到光华中文学校的Dropbox 里，文件请标明你的班级, 例如: 龙的传人_G2。如需要帮助制作请把音乐、图片以及具体要求发给王巍
4. The fall semester of this school year will be ended on Jan 21 and the spring semester will start from Jan 28. According to the needs from some students, school will open a few Chinese classes at Grade 3, 4 and 5. These classes will adopt the Chinese textbook 《美洲华语》. The classes will be open on Jan 29 if there are 4 students registered.
Since the new semester will start, students could switch and drop classes without any charges before Feb 11.
本学年秋季课程将在1月21日结束，1月28日将是新学期的开始。根据家长和学生们的需求，学校准备在3、4、5 年级开始《美洲华语》的中文班，请大家从速报名。班级报名人数在4人以上，我们就将在1/28日开课。
在2月11日以前，学生可以对自己所注册的课进行一些调整，2月11日以后的变动将会收取一定的费用。

6. Summer Programs Information:
New year starts again and it is about the time to start thinking about your summer schedule. Our Guanghua Chinese School is holding the 5th year summer program. This year we will have Professional Teachers from China to join us. Also, we will have different themed week, including Chinese Cultural Week, Adventure (Field Trip) Week, Movie Making Week, Pingpang Week, Chess Week, Dance Week, Drawing Week, etc. The early registration will begin on Jan 28. Stay tuned and more details will follow.
Also, Guanghua has privilege this year to organize our own groups to participate “寻根之旅“ in China. We will keep you informed.
新的一年伊始各家在考虑孩子们的暑期班注册问题。光华开办暑期班已经是第五个年头了。今年的暑期班，我们准备每一个周以一个主题为主，同时我们已邀请国内名师来此协助,初步定于7/9-7/20。注册将在一月底开始。敬请关注。
光华今年以授权可以自己组团参加《寻根之旅》，十个人以上就可组一个团。大家如果有什么要求和建议，请及时通知学校。赴上海北京的预期报名上周已经开始，有意向的请Email 章玲老师
7. Mandy will come to school this Sunday at Room 317 for the visa service. 周日1/21 下午2-3点Asia Travel 美亚旅游将在学校317教室办理中国签证、带取中国护照和公证事宜。
