2. Speech Contest at the class level is on this Sunday 22 October 2017
1) We are having our annual speech contest this week (10/22) for class level and next week (10/29) for grade level.
2) All teachers please arrange class level contest based on the rules we set and send class level winner names (both English and Chinese) to Jing Zhang at
3) CES teachers: Please plan your class level contest from 3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. for both class level and grade level. School will send judges to your class.
4) Speech Contest rules and rating forms are attached here, and will be available in school office this week and next week. You can also find them from school website.
5) “Grade Level Speech Contest Detailed Arrangement” regarding host teachers, contest rooms, and judges will be sent next week prior to contest.
3. Activities at GPCCC:
- Saturday Oct 28 @7:00pm-10:00pm Halloween Family Fun Night at Cultural Center: Ballroom dance club, Ping-Pong club, playing card club, Karaoke club and staff of the GPCCC welcome all of our Guanghua families to have fun at the cultural center before the Halloween. We will have the following activities
- Trick or treat for kids
- Costume parade and competition at 8:00pm (The winners will receive prizes)
- Costume ballroom dance
- Karaoke
- Ping-Pong
- Playing cards and mahjong

6. Reception at the Chinese Cultural Center
