1. There is no school this Sunday. All the classes are closed including the classes at Cultural Center. Guanghua will have classes on March 25 but will be closed on April 1 due to the Easter Day.

 

2. Jennifer Yuan, Computer coding instructor, has resigned. Jeff Loi has taken her place as the instructor of Computer Coding. Yanxia Jia will lead the computer coding club. 

A good news from the Guanghua Computer Club, Alex Wang, instructor of Chess Club has won the first place of Web Page Design of the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit’s Computer Fair. He registered as a student and a student teacher of the Guanghua Chinese school. In May, he will present as Guanghua to participate the state level competition of PA. Congratulations, Alex!

 

3. The Annual Poster Contest of Guanghua will be on April 15. Teachers and Parent representatives should pick up the white boards from the school office on March 25. 

 

4. No School Day Service for Spring Break

Spring Break is around the corner. March 26 - March 30, we open from 8:30 - 5:30. Chinese class, Chinese Cultural Introduction, Math and Science Class, outdoor activity, and field trip, etc. We offer snacks morning and afternoon. Lunch also can be purchased from us. 5. GHCS summer program’s registration has been started. You may go to website www.gpc3.org/summer for registration. Spots are filling. Multiple discounts are still available. Due to no school on March 18, we extend one more week for early bird registration. But you do need to action quick if you are interested. March 25 will be the last day for early bird discount. 6. Mr. Abe Pak, CEO of Accel will be our school on March 25 to answer all questions regarding their summer programs. 

 

7. Visa and travel services: US International  will be in our school on March 25@3:00-4:00pm at Room 317 for visa and flight ticket services.

 

8. Seminar on Private schools in the greater Philadelphia by Yuxiang Rao, March 25 @2:00 Room 344. Mr. Rao, Grace-Hope Educational Consulting will come to our school to give an introduction of the private schools in the greater Philadelphia area, including admission requirement, tuition fee, financial aid applications.
